Typographical map
For the typographical map of my room, I chose to focus on the geometric conformation of the ceiling in my room and the shades created by the passing of time and of light.

My first sketches were very flat and static and did not convey the feeling of movement and did not correctly potray the shape of the roof.
I then realized that the only way to potray the passing of time and the formation of shadows is through a medium which works with time (video form). I then started studying my ceiling and noting down at what time shades would form and which parts of the ceiling were the brightest.
I then chose to define a time span to simplify the task, ranging from One (13:00) to Midnight (24:00), and to project the shape of the ceiling on to numbers, giving them depth with light and shadows. Given the abstractness of the project, I decided to include a visual map, which shows the shape of the ceiling, the shadows and the different light sources.
